Located on the beautiful Whangaroa Harbour in the Far North of New Zealand, kānuka forest is named for just that - a forest of kānuka goodness growing all around me.

I understood the plant had been used in Maori Medicine (Rongoa Maori), to cleans, heal and nourish. Observing a huge number of young women fighting bacterial acne (my daughter included) and taking pharmaceutical drugs to combat it, I jumped into action to create a natural solution.

My first batch was born. I distributed it among the girls and asked they use it daily. It worked at quickly clearing up acne and smoothing out skin, without causing more chaos to to the fragile epidermis.

A star was born!
